Two of AIKO EL GRUPO's members grew up in Cantabria, in northern Spain, where seseo (pronouncing 'c'/'z' the same as 's') is largely absent — 'c' and 'z' before 'e/i' instead get the soft 'th' sound typical of northern and central Spain.
