Puerto Rico
Puerto Rican slang habitually stretches ordinary nouns and adjectives into social descriptors — 'neverita' (little cooler) for someone emotionally cold, 'duro/dura' (literally 'hard') for someone stunning, and 'piquete' (literally a sting) for swagger or style. The construction 'estar puesto/puesta pa' [algo]' (to be locked into / all about something) is everyday island shorthand, delivered with the relaxed, melodic intonation and softened consonants typical of reggaeton from Puerto Rico.
